We have been so antsy to tell you all, but have waited to break the news until all was settled.
We are in possession of a set of keys that unlock a beautiful condo on the north side of Chicago. That’s right! We bought a condo!
It is a newly remodeled 3br/2bath home, on the third and top floor of the building. There are beautiful hardwood floors throughout and windows on all sides (very rare for the city! but wonderful for sunshine and breezes). The kitchen hosts beautiful dark cabinetry and granite countertops. I am thrilled to have a washer/drier in our home and a whirlpool tub in the master bath. Brad is ecstatic about having a grill and can’t wait to go golf at the city-owned course that is a block north of our new home. We are both looking forward to having a dishwasher! We can hardly wait to grill on our new deck and have guests come and stay in our guest room (please do come!).

Brad~Rambam says if someone leaves a case of beer at your house for a week on the eighth day you may drink one bottle per day until the owner returns. If the owner doesn't return and you drink the entire case then you must buy a beer for a homeless man in front of a liquor store.
Sarah~ Texas misses you! I hope Chicago has a better breeze thought because Dallas is getting hot, hot, hotter every day.

Woo Hoo! I'm with ya on the whirlpool tub. I just bought my last home ever. Hopefully anyway! Before I closed on the house I told them that I need to have a bath tub before I did. They asked if I had one in mind. So now I get to have this Whirlpool Tub in my house!
