Michael's first week consisted of a lot of....
...Rejoicing (this is mid-clap)...
...Kisses...
...All-Around Wonder...
...Sleeping (with mom and dad the first night home, slowly transitioning to his crib)...
...Peaceful Moments...
...Realizing How Blessed I Am...
... Some Concern (he had a horrible diaper rash that just. would. not. go. away! Corona Ointment is ahhhmazing FYI)...
...and Peek...
... A-Booing. :)
It was an interesting first week - that's for sure! We couldn't have done it without the help of my mom and in-laws! Knowing you can "sleep-in" until 9 and rest in peace knowing that your 18 month old is in capable hands helps. A. LOT. (It is easy to forget how difficult the first two weeks with a new baby are - re-learning how to nurse, change diapers, s.l.e.e.p. ect.) but we made it through.
For our reference - when looking at his monthly pictures - we had a mini-photo shoot at 1 week. :) Michael is a pacifier-lover.
He's not too sure what he thinks after I take the paci away. :)
I hope to post our Christmas pictures tomorrow! :) I'll catch up eventually....
